I work in a gas station. Its not a great job, but its a job and it pays most of the bills. It could be a great job for someone, just not me. The reason its not a great job you ask (as if the obvious isnt apparent) is because I have a very low tolerance for ignorance. Not only do I work in a gas station, but I work at a gas station in the country where there is as much ignorance as there are pick up trucks, and thats a lot. Has anyone ever seen the movie Clerks? The movie holds some truth. For instance, at least once an hour someone will pick up an item from the dollar section and ask how much it is, dumb question gets a dumb answer. I reply 20 bucks, to which the "customer" says "the sign says a dollar". IF YOU SAW THE FREAKIN ONE DOLLAR SIGN THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU ASK ME HOW MUCH IT WAS? This nonsense all day every day can really drain a person. I need a job where I dont deal directly with the ignorant public. Dont hold my breath, I know. I guess I'll just chalk it up to another day in paradise.
